Thanks! I'm still a little confused cause my MCAT was verified but I didn't get any response that said anything about interviews :(

Sorry I should clarify. I received an email with the update. Even if you didn’t get the email, it’s an automated response im pretty sure and those are quite wonky at times. So don’t sweat it my friend. :)

Anyone know what an Asynchronous MMI is like? I know at UBC for example, when the MMI is synchronous and around 8 mins per station, it is recommended to applicants to talk for about 4 or 4.5 mins as their initial spiel and leave time at the end for follow ups. How many minutes will we be given for the Dal MMI? Asking so I can know what to practice for, will be starting early in hopes of being very prepared

So in the past, it was 2 mins to think then 8 to answer. Given that it's asynchronous, you won't have follow-ups cause you're talking to a screen, not a person. I assume that we'll have less than 8 mins to speak to make up for that.

I sure hope so, I'm not going to fill 8 minutes straight talking all on my own LOL

Any guesses on a release date?

I genuinely think next Wednesday.

I am anticipating a decrease in applications from last year. It’s still a crap ton of apps, so not by a lot, but because of Covid Fatigue, many people probably didn’t reapply this year as they usually would. Or even complete their applications, release scores in time etc. Under societal stress and Global change, the brain loses its fine touch.

Calgary had 2700 open apps this year, only 1950 submitted. Last year I believe it was 2200 open 2020 submitted (2020 in 2020 nuts, hey?)

Where did you see the numbers on Calgary applications?

For those who can see that section with government ID and a selfie, is it still there? I remember last year, some applicants could see it at one point and then disappeared for everyone sometime later.

When I checked about an hour ago on my phone it was there. When I look now on my laptop it's gone.
