UBC Verifiers contacted

Just wanted to start a support thread for those who have their verifiers contacted! Anyone have insight on what this means for this for this cycle? I do hope that it means more than "your file is being reviewed"   I can start!
How many have been contacted?: Many, most i'd say... 
When?: Mid Oct 2021
IP/OOP?: OOP
Undergrad/Grad: Undergrad complete
Early/Regular Deadline: Regular 
First time applicant/ Repeat applicant: Repeat
GPA/MCAT: mid 80s/515

At least one of mine was contacted in early October as well! Unfortunately, my verifiers were contacted for both cycles I was rejected pre-interview and interviewed, so it's hard to know if it means anything or is just a part of the process! Here's hoping though!

I wouldn't think into it too much. It is exciting but it doesn't mean anything for sure. One year they contacted all of my employment verifiers and one year they didn't.

My verifiers got contacted as early as October 1st. Whether your verifiers got contacted early or not has nothing to do with your performance. Don't think too much into it.

LOL What is this post? Relax. Everything will be alright. The verification process is random, even if you had your verifiers contacted not all of them will let you know. Just wait until December and chill out, there's nothing more you can do right now.

Contacting verifiers is pretty meaningless, all it means is they are reviewing your file. I've had anywhere from 1 to all of my verifiers contacted over the years. I've also had it early (this year) or right at the very end of November.

My verifiers were contacted in late September (not all but 3+ for sure), the thing I noticed was that the ones that were contacted were from my major activities, non of my hobbies or small things that I did on my application were contacted which they should if this is completely random. I don't know if they prioritize activities or what but I doubt that it is completely random because again virtually none of my hobbies were contacted.

I second this. None of my life experience or hobby entries have been contacted as of yet.

I had several of my hobby verifiers contacted (as well as those for my major activities). So I think it is kind of random
