NursingLover Posted March 4, 2022 Report Share Posted March 4, 2022 Hi everybody! I've applied to Mac and Western accelerated nursing and was wondering if anyone has gotten an acceptance yet? I'm starting to get really anxious although I'm aware that Mac usually sends out their acceptances around May. To be quite honest, my cGPA for the last 4 years isn't that high (3.3-3.4). However, my cGPA for the last 2 years which I think is what Mac and Western focuses on is high. Do you think my general cGPA would decrease my chances of getting in? I also wanted to ask if extracurriculars are an important part of the application process as I've read previous forums regarding accelerated nursing, and a lot of people would talk about their volunteering and jobs however, I don't think there's a specific supplementary application to do so? (Casper being the only supplementary we have to do). Please feel free to reply to this forum, whether you're in the program now or not!
