Medhopefulatubc
I was wondering whether anybody ever putting going to the gym in their diversity of experience. It’s a big hobby for me but I am confused how I would verify it? Thanks in advance!
MDee2B
Contact a rep at your gym, explain who you are, what your membership ID# is etc. Explain how you’re applying to med school and have to list verifiers for hobbies. Since you’re an avid gym user, you’d like to list the gym as an activity in your med school application, and ask the rep if they would simply be willing to verify your status as a regular gym user (since xx date), in the event adcom should decide to contact them. if so, ask the rep if they could please provide contact information (name, email address, phone number) where they can be reached by the admissions office for the purpose of verification. That’s it! Dust_Bucket
frenchpress
Lots of people put down activities like this - this is the sort of activity where it would be reasonable to put down as verifier a friend, for example, who goes with you to the gym a lot. The gains will speak for themselves, no verifier required Dust_Bucket
