Insufficient EC?

Hi,

I just finished my first year in a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at university and I want to apply in medicine in ottawa this fall. (I am a Quebec student who has completed a DEC, so I am eligible after my second year of university ). I want to apply in the French program, and I currently have a perfect GPA of 4.3/4.3, which I believe is very competitive for the French category. However, I really don't have a good EC: obviously no research, no volunteering, and no academic achievements. Do I still have a chance nonetheless?

Do well on Casper (4th quartile or higher). It counts for alot at Ottawa
