CaRMS application requiring MSc supervisor letter

Recommended Posts

I recently signed up for a SickKids residency info night, and in the information sheet, it says:
"If the applicant has done any research-based graduate work (MSc, PhD), a letter from his/her research supervisor is mandatory to discuss the nature of the research project and the student’s role (more details on this requirement will be available on CaRMS website). This is IN ADDITION to the 3 reference letters and is listed under attestation"

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is only SickKids or if any other program requires it?
