There are options out there like scientific researcher, study director (for pre-clinical and clinical industries), medical writing, consulting, medical devices as well...etc. Often times these positions can be gateways to more specialized positions. The options are really quite numerous, but it's daunting when you are looking from the outside in, so a great start is to reach out to people that work in the industry (or tangentially) that you are interested in, and ask if they'd be willing to do an informational interview with you.
