Guest ct401
how many people in your class (in med school) did their undergrad at U of T?
Guest Ollie
Hi, IIRC, I think out class (second year) has about 60/200 that went to UofT. But that doesn't mean that they give preference to those students. Probably, UofT undergrads probably make up a similar proportion of the applicant pool, and people who went here for undergrad might preferentially choose UofT for med. Guest patentforamenovale
UofT undergrads form the largest group in the first year class as well, although I dont have exact numbers for you.
Guest UTMed07
I saw the numbers a few years ago at the Faculty of Medicine Open House (which is typically sometime in March). Ollie's answer is about what I remember-- I remember it being 60-70. Probably, UofT undergrads probably make up a similar proportion of the applicant pool, and people who went here for undergrad might preferentially choose UofT for med.Not sure about the above. Guest peachy
I recall, the year I was applying, attending a talk about U of T admissions. They had data regarding the proportion of applications to acceptances for individual undergraduate schools. I do remember that the ratio for U of T and York was identical that year; they happened to be the only schools I was looking at on the chart, but I suspect that the ratio would be similar for all schools.
