winston87
Hi all - can anyone tell me what the rules are for taking maternity leave during residency in Nova Scotia? I've read the information on the "Maritime Resident Doctors" website, but I am unclear on how long you need to work as a Resident in Nova Scotia before you can take maternity leave. Is it around 4 months (16 weeks or so)? Thank you!
bearded frog
There does not seem to be a required period in the contract. However, for top-up payment you need to be eligible for EI, which may or may not require a work period before being eligible. I would reach out to them for clarification. winston87
