The situation with our health care system...

Hello I am brand new here and was wondering what people though about the current situation of our health care system (in Canada), I am not that much into politics ( there is this politcal group who favors a double speed health care system ) but it is pretty apparent that we need more doctors and especially those with a specialty...Now I am not to sure about the other provinces but it is getting rather ugly here in Quebec. They are even going to pass a LAW forcing some doctors to go work in rural areas of the province; waiting time in ER's are insane, some ER's close at 21:00!! What do you people here think about all this ? This might be a bit wishfull thinking but is it possible that med school will increase there classe numbers in response ? Does this whole sistuation affect your decison to become a physician?...

Sorry for all the questions but I can't help but feel bad for the general public... Please comment
