Anyone accepted/waitlisted planning to decline?

Hello,

 

I, as some others on this board, have been waitlisted. It would help to know if anyone is actually planning to decline UBC's offer (please specify if IP or OOP) or planning to take their name off of the waitlist.

 

UBC does not say anything about how long the waitlist is, or where one ranks in that list. So it would be really nice to know if some spots are going to open up!

 

Being waitlisted feels like you're sooo close, and yet so far away from getting in...so having some hope to cling to is all I can ask for

I'm not sure how fast the list moves... the deadline to accept the offers is May 31st... so I suspect they would probably start moving the line in June (?) I think the best thing to do is talk to admissions later the week. Good luck.

hmm in the email they sent me, they said that they can't offer any info on where i am on the waitlist or how many there are.

 

but maybe i'll give calling a shot tomorrow and see.
