question for applicants to NORMED and McMaster

HI everyone.

 

Wondering if anyone told McMaster that they couldn't attend the april 1,2 inteview because of the overlap with NORMED. I didn't, but just realized the conflict. The OMSAS booklet NORMED only said their interviews were going to be in march and april, no specfic dates, so i dind't decline dates for McMaster.

 

Maybe the mediator would know if the medical schools know of what other schools you applied to???

Yeah, I realized this too late as well. I just assumed they wouldn't schedule interviews at the same time, knowing the likelihood that people will be interviewed at both. It would be a bitter irony if I were to be offered an interview at both institutions, but could only attend one because of this oversight (on both my part, and the school).

Thanks for your input. This is what I figured too. I hope that we're both right! I guess all we can do is standby and wait for offers to interview!
