Hi everyone,

I'd like to apply to U of T. My undergrad GPA is 3.3 and I did not do well on the carving part of DAT (10), but the rest of the scores were above 18. I applied once in 2000 but got rejected. Now I am doing my Masters, have 92% avg in grad courses and I am planning on taking DAT in Nov. What are my chances?

Also, I printed the application and instructions forms, and they don't mention anything about an essay, which was required for the 2000 application - stuff like "what would like to do 10 years from now; demonstration of leadership ability and motivation to enter dental school, interpersonal skills" etc. Does anyone know if that is still a part of the application procedure?

hi there,

no essay, no references.....just fill out a 3page application form with personal info (name, address) and grades. i'm not sure if this also applies to graduate students....hope this helps.
