Phone/Cable/Internet Question

So far I've been investigating EastLink and Aliant Telecom for these services. Are there any other major service providers for these things in Nova Scotia? Does anyone have any comments about either of the companies and their services? I want high speed internet, basic cable, and my phone calls will be mostly out of province.

Both serve their customers well I've found.

 

The only difference in service is when there are natural phenomenon that screws things up for them, ie. the hurricane, the winter storm of 04, and every other "once in a lifetime" things that have happened repeatedly in the last few years. Aliant is MUCH faster to restore service, but Eastlink still gets the job done.

 

There are no other providers

 

Personally, I've been with eastlink the whole time though and have been very happy
