Guest McCarey007
I am about to take my MCAT this coming August. I already took it last year already but did not do very well. With this whole rolling application thing, should I even bother applying because the first thing they'll see are my low MCAT marks from last year. I'm sure I'll do better on my upcoming MCAT, but will that impact whether I get secondaries or not? Many Thanks
Guest peachy
I think that most schools don't screen before their secondaries, although there are some exceptions ... there's surely a list somewhere on SDN.
Guest cali
Would you know if schools in the US will look at your first bad score...How do they calculate the MCAT score if you have written it more than once? Thanks
Guest thesaug
Hi Cali, every school has different criteria...from the websites and handbooks I have read, I have not seen anything mentioned regarding multiple MCAT scores...if you are concerned, email one school that you are applying to and they will help you out...i dont think it should hurt you if you write it again and do better...but check it out... thesaug
Guest Mala2003
I know that Tufts for example would take the BEST score from each section.
