Transmission Date?

I just had a quick question - in the AMCAS website, beside each school that you applied to, there is a transmission date.

 

Is that date the schools sent you their secondary app (or rejection letter? )

Hi there,

 

No, the transmission date that appears on the AMCAS site is simply the last date when each school downloaded the bank of new applicant information from AMCAS. Schools download this information at different rates, during different times, e.g., some schools schedule the download once per week.
