Guest evilurd
Two questions: 1. What are credit hours? 2. Should I apply to the States or should I just save my money? GPA=3.86, 35R (12,12,11) and the standard ECs. I was thinking Yale, Duke, Harvard and Dartmouth.
Guest moo
1. Credit hours are just like credits. For example, an English course at UBC might be worth "3 credits" on your transcript and this translates to "3 credit hours." Other courses like labs might be worth "1 credit" at UBC and this translates to "1 credit hour." Coupled with the lecture component a first semester organic chemistry course might be worth a total of "4 credit hours." 2. You have pretty good stats, that should land you some interviews at the schools you mentioned. However, nothing is certain, but you should at least get a few interviews. Guest studentz
If you're applying to Duke, you better have research experience or a VERY good idea of what you plan on doing in the third year.
