Guest onthetopo1
Hi, I've had a lot of A+ but also 2C+ and 1 C- which really dragged me down in gpa. Is there any american med school which omitts your worst courses? thanks
Guest moo
No US school will obmit your worst grades, but they also won't reject you because of one or two C's. If you have a good MCAT, a decent GPA, and the rest of your courses look good, most schools will give you a chance. US schools tend to look for the whole package and won't reject you because of a bad score in one subsection of the MCAT or a bad grade in a couple courses. Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Also, (and I don't know if this is a new thing), the AAMC reports your marks to the medical schools in a number of ways. One way is that science and maths marks are sequestered and reported separately. Thus, this may be to your advantage is if your lower marks are not in science/maths courses. Cheers, Kirsteen
