Guest medschoolboy
how much of a role does having past relatives attending a private school help your chances of getting into that school? i know for some it acts as a tiebreaker, but does it actually boost your app? Thanks
Guest thesaug
Hi medschoolboy, I dont think it has a huge bearing on your application. Maybe in the interview, it could be a discussion point, showing how you have knowledge about the school or program. Other than that though, I am pretty sure it doesnt make or break your application. thesaug
Guest moo
Very little. My friend had a sister who was at NYU, and he got rejected pre-interview. Some schools ask for it, though, but most schools don't really care.
