good odds

I was thinking today (like every other day) about my chances at getting into U of C, and I came to the realization that we all have a very good chance!

 

at my interview, I asked Adele how many OOP interviews were granted, and she said 80. So assuming that they interviewed as many as last year (~265), that means that people from alberta have a very good shot given that they are likely going to send out more acceptances than seats (+/- 100 acceptances from the 185 in province applicants )

 

Adele also said that they interview so many OOP for the 15 spots because most OOP's opt to stay in their home province, and she said that OOP app's have very similar chances to in province students.

 

SO, I just wanted tell everyone that we all have a very good shot.
