Hi everyone! I'm in prov (in Edmonton) and just got the call from Adele. YAY! Good luck to the rest of you. For those of you with call display it just showed up as "Long distance" on mine with no phone number :b I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of ya!

Yeahhhhh!!! My sister just called me at the lab to tell me that some woman named Adele called.... and that I'm IN!!!

It only took three application cycles....

To all of you who are accepted in-province: did your caller-id display a number? I just missed a phone call that came up as "blocked", with no message left..i'm guessing it wasn't adele..i'm just too paranoid..

So, just to clarify....

 

No one CURRENTLY IN Calgary has heard yet?? For all of you waiting to hear, I have learned from experience that this site is a pretty good guage of whats going on....ie: the fact that no one on this site from Calgary has heard is a good indication that they either haven't started calling Calgarian applicants yet, or they haven't call many. Typically and lot of "keeners" seem to haunt this site (myself included) and compose a good chunk of those accepted. I'm currently a med student at UofA and I have to say of the people on the UofA thread, a fair chunk (more than 50%) got in (immediately or waitlisted). SO keep your hopes up (ESPECIALLY YOU RYAN), and Good LUCK!

Here are my stats: GPA 3.72 (engg), 34Q, MSc med science (in progress), lots of volunteering, lots of leadership experience at work.

Yup. Its official. I'm in Calgary and got a call 12:20 Calgary time. Pretty pumped.

 

Stats: BSc in Kinesiology, 35R MCAT, 3.89 GPA (best two years).
