Guest flowers
Attn. those of you with interviews! i should ask questions now before it's too late from you guys on how to improve my application for next year! so under the "what are your alternative plans should you not get in" - what did you put and should you add a twist, ie. but i will apply again to med the next year"? also, as you all know my poor gpa situation, i guess i should say something to explain it, but i don't know what to put! - depression, immaturity, wasn't ready for university experience? i left it blank for fear of saying something stupid. also, i think my extracurri. are good, but maybe i'm not presenting it in the right way. how did you guys present yourselves and what types of volunteer work have you done? for employment hx, is it wise to leave out things like "worked at the Bay" or "at my parents quiki-mart"???::lol is it best to just stick to the research and med-related work? this is valuable info that i'm sure all us who didn't get interviews would like to know. hope you can help us out! p.s. - most wouldn't go around telling people if they had a 3.0something and was applying to med, but to let you all know, i did have a 3.73 last term and will probably finish with around that this year so i'm really not that big of a dumb(bum!)
