Guest ssup Posted March 24, 2003 Report Share Posted March 24, 2003 I had my interview at U of C yesterday and found them to be UNBELIEVABLY easy-going and considerate. The interview focused on my EC and some "get-to-know-you" questions, with the exception of a few very basic ethical questions (not really bioethics as much as general ethical Qs). In fact, all the other interiviewees I spoke to during lunch and the tour expressed the exact the same opinion. U of C has incredible facilities and the day's organization by their 1rst year med students was definitely impressive. All in all, you really wonder whether UBC seems as appealing once you visit U of C. Definitely give you something to think about.... Good luck to everyone who still has their interviews. P.S. I know that it is three years and the curriculum is driven by clinical cases such as "headaches" but I would like to learn more. I guess what I'm trying to ask of the moderators is what is good/ bad about the program and also what life at Calgary med is like. PS: I am coming to Calgary on March 21st for an interview on March 23rd and am wondering if there are any snowboarders/skiiers who might be interested in joining me on a trip to lake louise...
