consideration of final transcripts while you're waitlisted

because u of c gives admission so early, they obviously don't look at the second term's marks when they're deciding who gets in. but, if you're waitlisted, they obviously do have time to see your final GPA. does anyone know if these second term grades are considered while you're waitlisted?
