Yay! Calgary extended their deadline 4 days to the 19th. Whew! Thank goodness.

 

 

And on a side note, I just realized that we're supposed to send folder/envelope labels also. Wish I had known that before I sent my cheque...

<title>A Day in the Life of a Med Student</title>

I'm the Student Affairs rep for UofC Med1, and we're putting on a fundraiser where people interested in med school can come and see what med school is really like.

 

It will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5th 10:00am - 5:30pm, with an evening social to follow. During the day you will be paired up with a 1st year med student who will take you to med school lecture, see a patient presentation, tours of the med school, answer all your questions about admissions, MCATs and interviews, plus senior med students will be giving details about clerkships, residencies, career options, etc.

 

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through SIMS (pre-med club) on main campus, or (hopefully) the Health Sci bookstore. If you'd like more information, or will be unable to buy tix through those places, you can email med_stufflife_stuffday@hotmailstuff.com (take out the 3 "stuff"'s).
