What do the interviewers know?

Just wondering: what does the UC interviewing committee have on the candidate? Just the essay and the

extra-curricular sketch?

 

In the section " Extra Information" where they ask about other schools you've applied to, criminal past, alternate plans, any reason your marks are low etc etc, I wrote some stuff I wouldn't mind glossing over, if I can.. do they have this info? Is this wise?

I'm interviewing this weekend in Calgary, and am extremely excited!!! I'm flying in from ottawa on friday and leaving on sunday. So I was wondering if any Calgarians could give me any helpful hints on what to see, where to go in my free time?

 

Also, i think I am going to stay in a hotel because I don't want to bother a billet for two nights...does anyone know of a good hotel near the school or should I just stay in a hotel downtown (is downtown close to the school?)

I found this forum after I got the most exciting phone call of my life from Adele this week :rollin . I'm thrilled to be accepted to UofC. However, I also have an application in at UofA with a May interview coming in another couple weeks.

What I'm wondering, is what people think about UofA vs UofC med? I love the atmosphere of Calgary, but UofA is supposed to have a more 'quality' med program. Also, even though I'm optimistic about UofA, do you think it would be foolish to wait for their decision (and who knows when that will come :rolleyes ) before making plans? ie I will need to move, and hopefully find a roommate, etc.
