Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, I was in a meeting at Toronto General yesterday, and sitting in on it was a senior (PGY-5 or-6) cardiac surgery resident. We were chatting about medical school and what was interesting was that he graduated from the UofC medical program and won his cardiac surgery residency in Toronto. (Incidentally, at the time of his medical school applications, he was also accepted at Stanford and UofT and selected UofC because of the relative efficiency of the program.) It was heartening to hear him chat about his experience in the UofC program: he said that it was a lot of work, but that the atmosphere was excellent and training that he received there was great. Cheers, Kirsteen
