When is the 'spouse' talk?

I had heard from a friend of mine in a previous year that U of C hosted an evening where you could bring your spouse and the faculty discussed specific issues surrounding being the spouse of a med student with respect to stress, time management, what to expect, etc.

 

Does anyone know if they're doing that this year and when it would be (i.e. in August vs. later?) My husband will be in Calgary for August, then moving back to Toronto for Sept - June, and I'd like him to be able to go to this...

In my acceptance package it included an O-week schedule. The seminar where you'd bring your significant other/families to is on Aug 5 and I think food is provided for the evening. I don't have my package with me so I don't remember exactly. Anywho, it's during O-week, so just look for that in your package.

Hey Froggie, I'm just looking at my package and it's called "Balance Night" under Thurs Aug 5 schedule. 6 - 8 pm in the Libin Theatre. I just love free food...
