Thoughts on cell coverage...

Any recommendations for a cell provider that has good service in Calgary and the surrounding area (Kananaski, Banff, Lake Louise...)??

 

I'm currently with Telus. Although I'm using an older cell I have found their service to be unpredictable at best. I've spent far too many conversations contorted like a pretzel (and unable to move) in order to hear the person I'm speaking with.

 

Any tips?? I'll be moving down soon

I've been with Bell Mobility and have found it pretty much works anywhere around Calgary, even out in the boonies at Kananaskis, the ski resorts, between Banff and Jasper.

 

Whatever you do, stay away from Fido! I made that mistake. As far as I know the coverage is the cities of Calgary and Edmonton and along Highway Number 2 between the two. Unless they have upgraded, which I suppose is possible. My phone was useless about 10 km outside of Calgary. And it was outrageously expensive. I love Bell!
