GPA question

Guyz, I have a question regarding the GPA. I have an undergrad GPA of 3.84 and a Masters GPA of 3.34..

1)How would Mac calculate my GPA?

 

Some more questions for non traditional students/career changers/older students?

 

2)How many years did you apply for before you got into Mac? 3) Were you in a healthcare related profession? if not what was it that brought you to medicine? 4)How much importance does Mac give to volunteer work? what area should one volunteer in?

I'm moving to the Hamilton area in couple of weeks from out of province and am trying to narrow down areas to browse where I can be within a 10-20 mins commute to Mac. Obviously finding the right place as soon as possible would prevent me from spending my life savings living in a hotel! I grew up closer to Toronto but haven't the slightest clue about anything west of the Mississauga (aside from my short stay in Hamilton to interview earlier in the year)

 

Can those of you who know the region please share your opinions about the following areas:

 

Dundas

Ancaster

West side of Hamilton

Burlington

Oakville

 

I'd prefer to get an apartment in a tower (with a nice view) in a quiet area (Definitely not a place where rowdy undergrads are running up and down the halls at night! :lol ) Any tips?

i am concerned about the stress of relying on public transit next year for first year at mac medicine. i am considering looking into a car for next year, and i was wondering how important it was to have a car and how convenient is it to always carpool or rely on others for rides?
