antisera
I ordered my transcript online yesterday (I'm a UBC student) via regular mail. Now I'm a bit worried it won't make it there by Thursday (paranoid, I know!) Should I send it courier? Or will the Admissions office be lenient if it's a few days late, although postmarked earlier? I forgot about the long weekend which may cause postage delays and I don't think that they'd send the transcripts through inter-office mail. CareerChanger
Given the pandemonium that the admissions office has to deal with next week and the way the postal system works (they lose tons of mail, though they don't like to keep official stats), my preference is to use courier so I have a signature that says they received it. Hand deliver is also another option, but I would suggest getting some kind of confirmation note from them at the office in case yours gets lost in the 2000+ sets of documents they're going to receive this year. It never hurts to be paranoid - spending an extra $5 is worth the peace of mind for me.
