New Mcat regulations and rolling admissions

Hi everyone,

 

I just had a question regarding the new rules for the computerized Mcat and how it is offered several times a year from the following year 2007 on. That may have some repercussions on admissions to the U.S, since it can be written all year long and if the standards for american school remain the same, that is first come first served, then access to those spots might change (depending on wether you wrote the Mcat in January, April, July or ...)

 

Does anyone has any information on the impact of the new Mcat settings, and how schools plan to deal with it? For instance from now on what could be considered early and late application submission?
