re:pre-requisite courses

Recommended Posts

Actually, McMaster wouldn't know whether its course is social science.. that would depend on the medical school. Some medical schools consider psychology as a science, whereas others consider it a social science, and others consider it whatever the home university deems it. Because it has the word "health" in it, some schools are more apt to consider it science (ie. UWO in the past). If you cannot take any other humanities/social science course that are less controversial (good old English, etc), I suggest contacting the medical schools you need it for application purposes.

PS. There are two different health psychology courses at Mac (one in kin and one in health sci) so be prepared to submit your course syllabus when you approach medical schools about it whether it would be a sufficient pre-req.
