shrink
When they ask what your alternate plans are if you are not accepted, what is the best repsonse? Honestly, I am planning on completing a 2- year master's program and applying again. Should I say that, or should I just say "will apply again"? fishy0118
Hello Shrink ... I would suggest putting down some sort of plan other than "apply again". That will show them that (1) you are not one of those who think medicine is the only career in the world (2) you try to improve yourself (in whatever way you state there) such that you become a better candidate next year (3) you have a plan B or C or D ... My 2 cents ...
shrink
Thanks for the advice. I'm just worried that if I say I have alternate career interests they will think I don't want it very badly...
Jade
Ummm...under which section is this question? I don't remember seeing this...
shrink
It's on the online form, under something like "questions". It's near the top, I think just after address, citizenship, high school. HTH.
fishy0118
It's the fourth item - "Other information". There is a box asking : Please outline your alternate plans if you do not make it into a medical program:
