traffic tickets and applying to medical school?

hi 'all,

 

i just got pulled over and fined for not stopping at a stop sign while on my bike. i understand that i broke a law, but was wondering if this would affect my medical school applications in any way....do med schools look at your driving records?

n/m, i found out for myself:

 

in case anyone does a search: police checks are usually only performed after admission, and are checked for criminal offenses. failing to stop at a stop sign is a minor traffic violation.

I actually laughed out loud reading this post! And no, you won't get rejected from med school for having a driving offence. If it makes you feel any better, I have $500 in speeding tickets to my name (though I'm proud to say I haven't had one in 3 years).
