Btw, I'm making my study schedule for the next week. Fun times for a Friday night.
The Law
Thanks! I really need it! I've been studying sooo hard... hopefully I don't confuse all the pathways and the reactions tomorrow! 0T6
Just got home from my "hard night of labour".. no routine deliveries but I was 2nd assist on a c-section on 32 week twin premies. One had IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) and was soooo tiny but came out cryin and clawing. life's amazing.

Kirsteen
Fun thread. On this end, I'm currently kicking back in Canmore having wrapped up 2 weeks of Medical Oncology clinics. Four weeks of Medical Teaching Unit Teams (and 7 nights of call) start next week. Cheers, Kirsteen
TimmyMax
Hey, Spending the weekend in London after surviving my first couple of days of Ambulatory General Internal Medicine. I previously had no idea that there were so many conditions (real or seemingly patient-fabricated) in Internal Medicine that you can't do anything about! blinknoodle
Just finished my two-week ER rotation. My last day was fairly slow but included a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, pelvic inflammatory disease, foreign body in eye and abdo pain NYD. Onto four weeks of general surgery! Kuantum
Well it's actually saturday morning now and I just woke up. I'm waiting for a call so I can head off to lunch but in the meantime, I am going to browse the internet and work on my physical chemistry labs. The Law
I'm going through all the reactions for my biochem exam in a few hours... AHHHH. It's my last midterm, so I can't wait until it's over. I'm just going to ignore the fact I have a lab write up and an essay due on Monday.
everyoneloveschem
I am now trying to get into study mode having just spent the morning in normal life mode. I made banana bread - two types. I almost set myself on fire, it was exciting. I'm wondering if the smoke alarm in my apartment actually works. I am happy it hasn't gone off, but I wonder what the threshold is (would it work in a real fire?). We have our heme exam in two weeks and I feel like I know nothing, so I need to buckle down and learn.
Darla
So The Law...how'd it go? Banana bread sounds like a very productive way to spend the morning. I spent the day so far at a volunteer conference that ended with belly dance as a treat. There's nothing funnier than elderly men and women plus some kooky students trying to belly dance! TimmyMax
Hey, I just finished watching OUA football on TV, which has long been my favorite way to spend (waste?) a Saturday afternoon. Now that the game's over, I might run a few errands in preparation for an equally wasted Saturday night!
