hnshhhm
Hey, If you have more than 5 courses (or 10 half credits) for UWO dentistry, do they count your best five, or all the courses? I am taking 6 full courses (or 12 half credits) this academic year. While I know they would take my best 5 (or 10) courses for medicine, would the same be true for dentistry? Thanks
bestknightmare
best 5, wouldnt see why not
mouthdiaper
i'm not sure about you, but when i apply to dental school, they indeed took my best years. One of my worst years has 6 courses, without that 1 bad apple, it would've been my best year.
predent
I asked Trish last year, and she said they won't drop your worst mark if you have taken more than 5 courses in a semester. It's your own choice that you want to take more than the full course load, and they'll simply accept it as it is.
Tonick
For UWO, I am almost 100% sure (if I remember correctly) that they count your summer courses for credit and prerequisites, but DO NOT count them in the GPA calculation. This is a good thing to keep in mind if you want to take Organic Chem or other prereqs you may find difficult in the summer, to spare your GPA.
