DentistWannaBe
I actually accidently carve a notched end when asked to carve a fluted end. what would be the max score that I would get for such a BIG mistake? Should I hold back on applying UBC given my GPA is around 78% ish. Thanks!
Adversary
If you did not get the pattern correctly, you cannot get beyond a 15. Essentially, you cannot pass the carving section if you cannot carve the pattern correctly.
Adversary
As for your GPA, it is below the applicant average and the accepted applicant average for the 2006 class. It is a risk, but ultimately, it's up to you as the only thing you will lose is money.
uofmpredent
I did the EXACT same thing the first time I wrote the test and received NO MARK for carving! Don't get your hopes up. Sorry.
Adversary
Wow, I didn't even know they were THAT strict. Well, I guess that's why those professional courses always remind us to ensure that the carving is correct above all else first.
dent100
I carved all the shapes correctly but misinterpreted the orientation of the triangle....does that also recieve no score?
uofmpredent
I carved all the shapes correctly but misinterpreted the orientation of the triangle....does that also recieve no score? I'm not sure about that one. If I had to guess I would say that you would receive some kind of mark, since you did carve the correct shape, but it will definitely hamper your score.
