Canada Post Tracking

3 days. Usually I'm not worried, but the deadline's this upcoming Wednesday.

Hi there,

Over the past few years I must have sent out more than 20 ExpressPost envelopes and about one quarter of them were untraceable until well after the package arrived. ...but the package always arrived in a timely manner. Minimally, you should have your tracking number and receipt on hand in the event that the package is not delivered on time but chances are--and even if the tracking number does not appear on Canada Post's website--you will have nothing to worry about.

Cheers,

Kirsteen

The won't be open Monday.....

But chill out, they don't even look at your reference letters until after your interview. No need to call unless on Wednesday it still says 'not received', and even then you should be fine. But if you're really worrying, wait until Wednesday to call as they're probably overloaded with this type of call nowadays. They are very quick to update their system, they must do it as your reference letters come in. My reference said her letter was in the mail, and two days later it was updated on their system.

Besides, I asked them about this last year and they said a few days late wasn't really a big deal - they aren't going to flag your file or anything like that.

It's just odd that TWO of my reference letters sent from different cities in Ontario via Inter-province Xpresspost are untrackable. Alberta U never answers e-mails nor picks up their calls (has a voicemail box that's full and does not return OOP calls)...
