cclawfjj
Contemplating on whether to take it for next term. -more specifically english literature (longer genres) offered at mcmaster. The course focuses primarily on novels and plays. I'd love to read, write and discuss, but from what i gather, acheiving an 'A' in an University English course is difficult. What's your take on this? Are there any other recommendable humanities course?
Gadzillar
I really enjoyed philosophy, more specifically bioethics. Getting an A in English courses is difficult, but it can be done. Even if you end up with a B+ or something, it won't destroy your application. Make sure you check out the course requirements of the schools you want to apply to--they may require English anyway. Madz25
If you're planning to apply to the US at any time then I highly suggest you do an English course.
Kiel
Also, many schools out west require a full course equivalent in english/literature.
Kuantum
Manitoba no longer specifically requires English. You just need 18 credits of Humanities/Social Sciences if you are applying with a 3-year degree and 6 credits if you are applying with a 4-year degree.
