MCAT Worries

Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering, after a full year of chem (physical and organic), a full year of Anatomy and Physiology, a half year of evolutionary biology (with genetics), and grade 12 physics, am I ready to sit the MCAT and do reasonably well (27 or 28) or do I need more courses?

Thanks for your help.

I think you'll be fine. Also, I *personally* don't think that a 27-28 score is "fine"....it's not terrible, but you should aim higher. If all you aim for is barely passing, you're not gonna do much better than that. The cut-offs are going up year after year, and even passing the cut-offs doesn't necessarily mean that your scores will not be looked at again afterwards. 27-28 is unlikely to kill your app, but it will not do it any good.
