Distance education

As long as the distance ed courses are transferrable for credit at your degree granting institution, then they can be used for pre-req gpa purposes as far as I know (as long as your not just taking ochem I or whatever just to get a better grade).

I'm not sure how it works for non-prereq's as far as being counted as part of your full course load or not.

I can't imagine why that should put u at a disadvantage...

I remember this question was asked before...and somebody said that oftentimes, they can't even tell from your transcript that the course was distance edn.

 

Generally this is because your degree granting institution will grant you equivalent credit, and that course (the course equivalent from your institution) is the one to show up on your transcript so it looks like you actually took that course there.
