Do they ever look at percentage grades?

Pretty much all info I have read about academic requirements for professional faculties and grad school only refer to GPA. Are your percentage grades ever considered (for any program, not just med school)?

I think it depends on the school and program...for example, UBC med school uses your percentage grades...also, I remember something about UWO using the OMSAS gpa for med admissions but percentage grades for dentistry admissions, but I could be wrong...

Nah, they're not supposed to look at individual marks...unless, it's a school like UBC which also calculates a pre-requisite gpa based on 9-10 specific courses...but UBC is the only school I know of that does this. If schools say they'll look at your cgpa, or last 2-year gpa, or best 2-year gpa, they mean it...they're not gonna be discussing things like hey this person got a C+ in physiology whereas the other person got it in psychology, so he's less qualified, etc etc
