hippie
Ok! So i'm taking this course which is fiction writing and it's just torturing me, my english suck, and not only its taking too much time that I need to study for the MCAT, I will be doing so bad on it which will drop my gpa.So starting tonight I am seriously thinking of dropping it. I am applying for american schools this summer. Can I take this course that I only need as a prerequisite next summer, even if I had a conditional acceptance? Madz25
Most US med schools start in July, so it's unlikely you would be able to finish a full year course next summer before med school starts. You can take it during the year though.
hippie
It's a half-year course and it usually ends on the 15th of June. I know that some Canadian universities does not allow you to take courses in the summer before your med school starts (Ottawa u per ex) and I was wondering if any american university does the same! mikkey
for American universities, all you need is to have the pre-recs under your belt for matriculation. However, for Canada, most schools demand that you have all you pre-recs for Nov 15th of the year prior to matriculating. So you might want to stick with the course...
