Redlan
I am Canadian and am wondering if anyone here might know if it is possible to go to an Irish medical school and then match to a neurology residency back here in Canada - perhaps McGill in particular - as I am considering Ireland as a serious option if I don't get into a Canadian school? KennethToronto
Off the top of my head, I'm going say next to impossible? But then again, I don't know how competitive a neurology residency will be, nor do I know Quebec's policy towards IMGs. Try to get into Canada/US if you can. A lot of that data is available on the CARMS website. You can see how many people in the Canadian and the IMG streams matched into Neurology, and what the satisfaction rate was and whether spots were left over.
