does UWO have to receive my transcript on Dec 1th (the application deadline date)? Is it okay for me to send it on Dec 1th? Thanks

straight from their site:

 

"CERTIFIED transcripts from EACH university, college or other post-secondary institution applicants have attended are required to reach Schulich Dentistry by December 1 of the year of application."

 

so, send it now. Why bother taking a chance and waiting till the first? i don't see any reason why you would need to wait another week or so to send it...

For western, don't you only need to finish the online application? From there, they order transcripts from your schools?

if you're in province, and you're made a transcript request and your chose the "immediately" option, once they have received your payment (and it's been verified), your application will be immediately processed, therefore, your transcript will be immediately sent to UWO.

btw, I've called western twice and trish (who deals with dentistry) is super nice and knowledgeable. I don't want you to receive incorrect information, so it's best that you call her. However, it is long distance so you can email the school, trish is most likely going to respond to your email and she's prompt
