victorwoot
Hey, does anyone know if applied degrees, obtained at colleges or by joint agreement through university-college fulfill the undergrad requirements for medical school? I'm particularly interested in the University of Guelph-Humber: Kinesiology Program, you receive an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology. I'll try contacting some med schools, but if anyone has info that's great! Thanks, VW

The degree earned is the same as if you had gone to the university for the entire duration. Elaine
victorwoot
Thanks elaine, that makes sense. I'm leary about the college degrees granted by colleges though, like at Seneca College, I'll look into it further.
gregfocker
Just thought id throw my 2 cents in. In many collaborative or applied degrees, there are often 2 years at a college/2 at a univeristy or 3/1, 1/3. OMSAS and medical schools do not look at the grades that have been obtained at colleges, only the university portion of the degree. Make sure to check what is considered college and what is considered university. It will also affect your pre-reqs if they are taken during the college portion of the degree,
