Question about attending a northern school

Recommended Posts

Hey David, it is to your benefit if you go to school in the north for your undergrad. In addition, NOSM also requires an additional 10 years of living in the north BEYOND your four years school  They are pretty rigid on what they consider living in the North.

Residence is much harder to control and accomplish to meet NOSM standards than volunteering, grades etc. Just make sure you are 3.8-4.0 grades, wicked research and have great ec's that are focused on rural, remote and northern issues. And then who knows... probably still a long shot with urban. good luck
