Showman
I guys, I'll be writing the MCAT some time next year. But the thing is I haven't taken any physics courses in University (I'm in 2nd year). I'm just wondering will a few months of review and studying from the guides plus the practice tests be enough to help me for the physics part of it? Thanks. MCAT Physics is equivalent to high school level physics. If you've done Gr. 11 and 12 physics in HS it'll be easier to review. My point was, undergrad physics isn't necessary to do well on the MCAT, aside from the fact that it's more fresh in your mind.

I only had one year of high school physics, which I took back in 1994 (I think). All I did was use the Examkracker Physics review book, and I was fine. In fact, I got a 12 on the PS section, which was my highest section. Elaine
Showman
Awesome! I took Physics in grade 11 and 12. Thanks for the replies!
sbrugby
Everyone has a different level of preparation depending on your teachers, high school curriculum, etc. etc. For example, I don't think high school physics was taught well in my high school at all, which is why 1st year physics in university helped me a lot. I would suggest that you flip through a TPR/Kaplan/EK physical sciences book and see whether you can understand the material alright. If yes, then don't take physics in uni, if not, then maybe you should.
The Law
I would encourage having a decent level of knowledge of physics prior to writing, it'll make your life a lot easier.
