exposfan
Hi I was just wondering if anyone can confirm that UWO, when figuring out averages, uses this scale: A+ = 95, A=87, A-=82, B+=77, etc. Someone told me this is how they figure out your average, using the median value of each set of marks in each GPA bracket. Is this true?

mrsweasley
umm... is that how they calculate the average for schools with letter grades? what about UWO undergrad where they give percentage grades... i'd imagine they'd just use the staight average, right? Guest vert
yes, UWO will look at the exact percentage grade if they are given on the transcripts. some schools have both a letter and a percentage.. in which case they will take the exact percentage. and if there is just a letter, they will treat it as descibed above.
